They have tremendous potential. They are leaders. They are respectful. They are considerate. They listen well. They like to learn. They are taking a different, narrower path. They take a stand for what is right. They are a joy to be around. And I want the Lord to use me to develop them into tremendous leaders for the Kingdom.

Booda is a junior at Townview Magnet School, specializing in business. He loves English and is an amazing poet and lyricist. He lives with his granny and sister in The Hamptons apartments right near Brett's house. His mom lives down in Lancaster. When given the choice of living in West Dallas or Lancaster, Booda chose West Dallas because "I want to be a part of the movement Mercy Street is creating in West Dallas." Booda is an active apprentice to Johnny in the Mercy Street Bike Shop and has been an active participant in Garrett, Carlton, and Brett's Bible studies and Young Life.

Deion (Duke)
Deion is a freshman at Pinkston High School. Deion surpassed Brett in height this past year and is a budding star on the Pinkston freshman team. He is close with his brother, Antonio, is playing basketball and Otero Junior College. Deion has also been an active apprentice to Johnny in the Mercy Street Bike Shop and an active participant in Garrett, Carlton, and Brett's Bible Studies and Young Life.
